Sound Generated Energy

Problem: In today's society efficient green power is becoming the way of the future. However, due to the massive demand our world has for electricity. We have yet to find something that can offer a significant amount of green power that is affordable.

Solution: Instead of building extremely large windmills or solar panels, which consume large amounts of land and resources. Building SGE's and incorporating them into cities and everyday portable devices could prove to create a large amount if not infinite amount of free energy.

Development Journal: I am very interested in green technology, I follow hybrid cars and have read about solar panels for home use. However, aside from cars green technology for home use is rather difficult to understand and use. It takes a large investment and most people are too unsure of the value to go through with it. With SGE people won't need to worry about installing panels which require special batteries and maintenance. instead with SGE installed in every city people will be on a universal system and all get the benefits of the green energy.

New-Product Strategy: The idea behind this is to make green energy more mainstream. Sure people have invested in current technology, but unless everyone gets behind the idea; coal and other forms of dirty energy will still have a market. Which means pollution will continue to grow. SGE will be a massive tool and will help create new jobs as well.

Idea Generation: The idea came to me when I was listening to my sound system. I thought about sound waves and how they cause vibrations. Everyone creates noise what if someone developed a sound capturing energy source that would essentially turned everyone into a battery? No one likes the idea of working, however communication and creating noise is something everyone does naturally. If we could capture all these vibrations and turn them into power it could greatly benefit everyone.

Idea Screening: I believe this product has a large amount of potential. Obviously it would start out in smaller applications. Such as a cell phone that never dies as long as you continue to use it. Once people see how effective the idea is they will be willing to apply it on a grander scale.

Business Analysis: This product will benefit everyone by reducing the cost of energy. If the idea takes off which it definitely would. It would most likely be a monopoly which means the government would have to regulate it. Getting off topic the market for this product is massive from lower the cost of electric bills to ensuring your cell phone is always ready for use.

Development: SInce, this is not a product that would not be sold directly to consumers it will be marketed around technology based companies. Like cell phone companies, or even electric companies, the cost of installing the SGE should be relatively low since they would be attached to current telephone poles, making the installation a maintenance the two biggest factors in cost.

Test-Marketing: Should this idea take off there isn't a portable device that couldn't benefit from the ability to charge fro noise. Even competing competitors will be asking to incorporate this device into their product so they can stay ahead of the curve. The best way to test this product would be in small devices like cellular phones before moving onto other products..

Commercialization: SInce this a product aimed toward other companies it won't see much commercial use until it is well known and a success. Once this is the case it will be advertised to communities so they could do their best to update their smaller towns, since this idea will be released in larger cities first.
